The property is overrated. Not so good food and the property is like halveli and Mahal. No outside view

short stay at the Flutes Boutique hotel, very comfortable stay, staff is very nice and helpful. Ms. Barkha at the front desk was very kind and helpful.The rooms are neat and clean. Kettle with coffee/ tea / water is provided daily. Baggage room is available too. Access to the hotel is also very convenient. The area is safe and secure, with public transport and app based transport - Uber/ Bolt available. Room service is also very prompt and available most of the time. Close to the hotel - is the ATM, the telephone SIM card / recharge available, some trinket shops and grocery shops. Also a shopping mall walkable distance. Hotel is perfect and fits the budget and comfortable for solo, business or family travel. Both International and domestic airports are about 25 min away from this hotel, depending on the time of travel.

We stayed in this hotel for a wedding, which was handled beautifully by their staff. The grounds were park like and we enjoyed just walking around. The room was large and very clean. They provided bottled water everyday along with fresh linens. The breakfast was wonderful, food was delicious and the staff was ready to assist for whatever we needed. We fell in love with the door man, who always had a big smile. But his handlebar mustache was what brought a smile to our face everyday. Checking in was a breeze and the a/c was a blessing. Would we book here again…..most definitely!

The Shakun hotel is well located in the city and just slightly out of the hustle and bustle of the main road; it's great for tour pick-ups and grabbing an Uber to dinner in the evening. The hotel is a little dated and perhaps not quite as grand as it once was. We travelled outside of peak season and it felt like the staff had been switched to a less experienced team who perhaps weren't as knowledgeable about service. However, they were always really friendly when we approached them. However, the restaurant food was great and the breakfast buffet was varied. Our room was big, spacious, really clean and attended to every day. If you're looking for a base while you spend a couple of days exploring Jaipur and aren't too worried about aesthetics of the hotel then the Shakun hotel, for the price, is worth it.
